Job Description
Locum Ready is currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join a well-established GP surgery in Broadstairs. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACP looking for flexible and rewarding locum work in a professional and supportive primary care environment.
As a Locum ACP, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a range of acute and chronic conditions, prescribing independently where appropriate, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure outstanding patient care.
This role offers up to 3 days a week, and multiple locum ACPs can be considered if needed.
Job Requirements:
- Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) qualification with relevant postgraduate certification.
- V300 Independent Prescribing qualification is essential.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a primary care setting (GP surgery, urgent care, or walk-in centre).
- Ability to work autonomously, making independent clinical decisions.
- Strong skills in minor illness management, chronic disease care, and prescribing.
- Experience using EMIS, SystmOne, or Vision (training available if required).
- Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to obtain one).
Working Days and Hours:
- Up to 3 days a week (flexible schedule).
- Available shifts: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, or full-day shifts.
- No weekend work required, but extra sessions may be available.
