Job Description

Locum Ready is looking for Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioners in Southwold. This role provides flexible sessional work across a range of primary care providers, offering opportunities that match your clinical background, preferred service type and weekly availability.

As a Locum ACP, you will work within established clinical teams to deliver autonomous assessments, manage acute presentations and support routine primary care activity. Sessions are arranged to suit your schedule and may involve urgent access clinics, triage-based work, or routine appointments depending on service needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering independent ACP-led clinics across local primary care settings
  • Assessing and managing undifferentiated presentations
  • Providing telephone or face-to-face triage
  • Prescribing safely within your scope of practice
  • Supporting clinical workflows such as results and follow-up actions
  • Documenting accurately within service-specific clinical systems

Requirements

  • Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7)
  • Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similar
  • Independent Prescribing qualification preferred
  • Experience in GP, UTC, walk-in or urgent care services
  • Ability to adapt to different clinical environments
  • Enhanced DBS

Working Pattern

  • Fully flexible sessions
  • Weekdays, evenings or weekends available
  • Options for short-term, ad-hoc or regular weekly bookings
