Job Description

Locum Ready is looking for Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioners in Kennoway. This opportunity provides a range of flexible locum sessions across community-based and primary care environments, allowing you to choose shifts that suit your clinical expertise and weekly availability.

You will support local services by delivering autonomous ANP-led clinics, contributing to patient access across GP surgeries, urgent care providers, extended hours hubs and community health settings. The work is varied, well-structured and designed to offer consistency while maintaining flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Running independent ANP clinics in community and primary care services
  • Managing acute presentations and minor illness cases
  • Telephone and on-site triage for urgent patient demand
  • Prescribing and clinical decision-making within scope
  • Completing follow-up actions and clinical tasks
  • Recording accurate and compliant clinical notes

Requirements

  • Recognised Level 7 ANP qualification
  • V300 Independent Prescribing
  • Experience in community or primary care settings
  • Ability to work autonomously in different environments
  • Good familiarity with digital clinical systems
  • Enhanced DBS clearance

Working Pattern

  • Flexible sessions with options across multiple service types
  • Daytime, evening and weekend shifts available
  • Opportunities for regular weekly slots or ad-hoc cover
