Job Description

Locum Ready is looking for a Healthcare Assistant to support regional primary care clinics throughout Talbot Green. This opportunity offers a mix of routine clinical tasks, patient-facing procedures and general support duties within organised GP clinic environments.

You will contribute to the delivery of safe and efficient patient care by carrying out observations, assisting with clinical tasks and supporting the day-to-day running of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting routine clinical observations
  • Supporting treatment room tasks and basic procedures
  • Performing ECGs and routine health checks
  • Assisting with phlebotomy where trained
  • Recording information accurately in clinical systems
  • Providing general assistance to nursing and clinical teams
  • Helping maintain smooth patient flow throughout the clinic

Requirements

  • Healthcare Assistant experience in GP, community or NHS settings
  • Confident in routine patient observations
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to adapt to new clinics and workflows
  • Phlebotomy experience beneficial
  • Enhanced DBS

Working Pattern

  • Flexible clinic-based shifts
  • Weekday, evening or weekend availability
  • Suitable for both short-term and ongoing work
